ROADRUNNER Water Well – Tanzania

Cycling around the world and doing GOOD at the same time! The ROADRUNNERS, Heidi and Markus Dangl, showed us how it’s done, setting off on their journey in 2014. In Tanzania, they made a stop, arriving in Moshi in 2016, where they were warmly welcomed by our LIFE NEEDS WATER team.

With the proceeds from their inspiring world tour lectures, we were able to install a water well system with a solar pump for the children of MBUNGUN School in the Arusha DISTRICT. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the ROADRUNNERS for their donations and the efforts they made through their campaign for the children in Tanzania.

 

 

 

MBUNGUN – Water Well Project:

In 2021, our team member Barnaba Sway, with his company BAJOS in Tanzania, was able to complete the water well, providing drinking water for 200 children.

 

Installation of a Solar Pump with BAJOS – Tanzania:

The school administration and the children of MBUNGUN School in northern Tanzania thank you for the water well with a solar pump. Thanks to this water system, they no longer need to bring water from the river to school and now have access to clean drinking water. A heartfelt thank you to the ROADRUNNERS for their selfless efforts for children in Africa… THANK YOU!
